re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Well, I've taken my first step into a larger world, I've begun my PT purge:
Galactiboy's FS Thread

It won't be 100% at this time... I decided to keep my custom Anakin and Kenobi since I'm pretty proud of them and I'll also keep a few other's just to have a "representation" of the PT on a single shelf.

But in total I've got 19 PT figures listed and 3 or 4 more that will be added once I get a few pictures taken :lol

So what are you looking to do with the funds? Is this with some other collectable in mind?

Nah, just clearing space. If anything just put a bit of extra money in the bank and finance upcoming purchases of which there are not that many.

Agreed... crap indeed?

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Yeah, I've been getting pretty bored of quite a few of my figures so the thought has been crossing my mind to dump a few. For example, I still have two DX Jack Sparrow figures, only need one, HT Ghost Rider, which does not do much for me any more, and this bootleg Punisher figure. Oh, and maybe Keaton Batman...

Damn, Waller... he mentioned the other night a couple of times "Yeah, I PO'd then cancelled, because I really don't need it"... Guess it got me thinking, a couple sales and I could finish my Kenner set.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Yeah, seems that Punisher figure would go a long way towards finishing the collection.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I doubt I could get 800 for it, as that seems to be the outlier of sold items on ebay... 500 might be possible though.

Hey now! The waitress was a boarderline 10. VERY hot. :lecture So we're keeping our perving limited to the upper crust here. :lecture

Flosi speaks the truth. :lecture

Still interested in Crumb? :naughty

:lol

I say go for completing your Kenner set. I need to work on getting mine displayed properly.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

It would take away the urge to be so frugal too... really, if I'm going to blow a bunch of money on Yak Face it may as well be a minty one.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I will actually need to buy a few since I've decided not to open the beat up carded ones I have. Kenner collectors would shoot me for doing that and it doesn't seem like the right thing to do. I will probably end up needing to buy about 6 or so, including a couple from the last 17 (General Lando and an Ewok). :panic:

Was it a fun game? Looks like might be. I'll prob wind up playing with the wife.

It was fun, but I've got nobody to play with. The ships are awesome. The game has a lot of rules and such, and we only ever played it in easy mode or whatever. I was very close to picking up the four or five new ships, especially the MF, as that looks amazing. Then came the purge.

I miss Gibby. :(

Me too. He hasn't been on since early May... :(

Missed out on a great FX-7 the other day that only went for $28, AFA 85 too, only because I was too lazy to be watching at the end...

Happy Birthday, Kenbenobi! :duff

Happy Birthday Scott! :fest

I opened a some a couple years back. They started to get that oopy build up, like there was some kind of reaction starting to take place between the figure and the bubble, or at least it was that way with Skiff Lando.

AFA minty? :D

No!! :lol I just want a loose one, minty, but loose.

:lol The pose seems to be making my boiler look jumbo sized is all. :D

I opened a RotJ Vader and RotJ Jedi Luke once. The cards had been damaged and the bubbles were separating. Was fun and had some serious childhood flashbacks. Plus I got to add two sweet mint figures to my collection.

It was a huuuuge Lego weekend for my kids and me...Batcave, Batwing, Catwoman motorcycle and the Batman Lego movie with the Clark Kent minifig. All very cool sets. I really dig the Batcave.

:rock My son and I have been playing Lego Batman 2. Super fun, and that's saying something considering how bad the first one was. All of the current sets are represented in the game, so the Batmobile and Batwing are just like the ones from the sets we own.... And yeah, I dig the Bat Cave too! For the price you get a ton of stuff.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Do any of you guys know what a complete Vintage Death Star is going for these days>?

Yeah it's actually not super hard to find one in good shape and not too bad price-wise. Finding one with the blue is the hard part.

I also ordered Arkham and the Joker's Madhouse from Lego.com. I am partial to the playsets and always really like them. Plus getting 4 or 5 minifigures in a set kicks rear. Did you see the Endor Ewok Village? Holy cow!
