He should still be able to get a replacement from Sideshow if it arrived to him damaged... you'll have to check with the seller. I think he will try to help you any way he can...

Spoke to Sideshow, and sent an email to the seller, who is very nice to begin with. I just have to wait for his response. And SS stated there would probably not be a problem with the replacement. By the way, only the Wolfman part is broken. Does anyone think they can just send me a new Wolfman?

They'll probably replace the whole thing since it isn't that large and shipping isn't an issue...

Received my number 49 today, but a finger on the Wolfman is broken!

Does anybody know if Sideshow will replace the piece for me, as I am not the original owner?

That one in AZ was actually not sold, but removed and noted as no longer for sale. I'm pretty sure Mesa did not make the order, as we were both in the chat and left just about one hour prior to the dio going up for order. His waitlist time is also in the waitlist thread. I'm keeping a detailed list of all ebay sales, so I can make a more informed decision if I miss another order like this one.

On another note, I've heard back from my ebay seller, and he is more than happy to assist in the replacement of my broken #49! I'm a bit relieved and should hear confirmation tomorrow.

thanks avfin, i'm pretty sure i can rest easy. the seller is very friendly and helpful. i'm just hoping ss has replacement pieces. at least some, as i know #4 was already broken as well.

no other connections have come through yet, and i'm still waiting on conversion like you!

Got my shipping notice today from sideshow

I just sent my statue back to sideshow today, but they won't receive it until Thursday because I missed the out going pick up. The reason it has taken so long is because the last 2 times they sent me a UPS return lable, the link to the label did not work. They finally sent me a FEDEX lable yesterday and I got it out today. My Wolfman was not broken, if they replace my whole statue at least there is an extra Wolfman for your broken one.

You mean he didn't check to see if there was any damage? Never buy unopened. You'll have to send it back to him, and he'll have to return it to SS for a replacement.

Hey, don't blame me. Yes, I was willing to pay a premium to ensure that I have the initial offering in the SSE Dio line. But that does not mean anyone else has to pay that much. I'm sure in the next few months the price will drop significantly.



And look what my impatience brought me:

I'm sitting here this morning, hoping Sideshow will do the right thing and replace the whole figure and not just the Wolfman, because there was a problem with both figures!

I returned the dio to the seller, and SS requested he break the Wolfman and provide them with a picture of the damage. They will then replace the Wolfman only. However, in light of other damage found on Frankenstein, we are currently working on a full replacement. Wish me luck.

I just think that image sums up my experience in trying to add this dio to my humble collection.
