Fred barton 1:1 Robocop bust

Wow...didn't realize these 1:1 busts are so light? I can't believe that if u weigh 6 Robocop bust combined, it would weigh as much as 1 Hulk PF?

Wow, this must be some new trend (didnt know Wolvie was like this too), because I have (and have owned) many 1/1 pieces, and NONE of them were even remotely this light. Heck, even the Pred bios (which are just masks!) weigh more than this with their bases.

Had no idea they were such light weights. Along with some of the flaws I've seen here, this is really beginning to be a turn off for me.

As a collector myself, I always put the most I can into each piece I paint/construct. After hearing all the horror stories how big a jerk this Fred guy is, I may avoid this bust altogether. Although, I do need a lifesize Robocop piece....what to do...

Lights nothing new. I've got the original SS Preddy 1:1 and it's really light. Not sure of the weight, but I remember being surprised at how easy it was to lift and carry around. It may "feel" cheap, but it's ultimately a good thing or we'd be paying insane shipping fees for all of these things.

I guess everybody has something they're looking for when they spend a decent amount of money. The weight doesn't concern me at all (unless it causes structural problems).

For instance: I bought one of those Arnie T3 busts from Godaiking. It's pretty light (I think it's made of hollow resin) but I don't know how I could be much happier with it. I think it looks ridiculously good, but don't take my word for it:

1lb or 100lbs, I don't care. As long as it looks good. Joe's the man!!

Its probably the lightest thing I own yet is the best.
Agree with snappa. Shipping these things especially to the Uk can be quite expensive especially with customs and " couriers costs"

Actually my spiderman 1:1 weighs about the same as my wolvie 1:1


The IM 1:1 actually weighs more.


Only the wolf 1:1 and Vader busts were heavy. And even then it's more the base than the head itself.

The P1 1:1 is lighter or abt the same as IM 1:1 so I think it's always been this way more or less.

Exactly what I was about to say. 1:1 Original Predator is huge, and surprisingly light, however you can see and tell it's a quality piece.
To me, the weight has nothing to do with value, will have to see it before judging. Hopefully my LCS will get one in...

My neca shadow box robocop gun came in today via UPS hopefully to go along with the robocop bust..but i still havent preorder robo bust as of yet because im 50/50 on him..i just hope these delays is for making improvements on this piece..
