These guys look really good. Friday will be a nice day indeed for this Ringer. I'll be looking forward to reviewing this and see if my score is close to pix's.

Oh, no you're not pulling a josh are you?

Can't stop talking about me even on ignore. :lol :p

Here is Frodo. I like him I really do but mine has a bit of damage to one of the legs but displayed it isn't that noticable so I'll probably just keep him. I think its about $10 or so overpriced but that isn't much considering how some figures arrive and show just how high the price shouldn't have been.

Great pics but I keep feeling great about this piece but at the same time not quite as impressed as I should be.

Nice pics Mike. What was the defect you are talking about?

Forgot to post it.

Here you go:

Up close the split goes halfway up the shin but simply displayed its only slightly noticable at the ankle.

My right shin is split about an 2/3 of an inch up. But the left one is fine..., so does that mean both your legs have splits in them?

Thanks for the pic.

A lot of the non buck bodies have little splits in them it's common. The RAH bodies have them and the HT bodies have them. Some are more split than others. Pull up the pants on some of those figures and you'll see.(no biggie, it's probably just something with the foot. It's sturdy nothing to worry i bet)

The weird thing is the C Stand doesn't really fit him. It goes directly underneath his armpits and even pushed down completely into the black holder his feet really don't hit the stand base.

Really? Mine touch the base. I had to make sure his coat was pushed above the C stand to do it though.

Dang. All these pics are GREAT. One of Sideshow's biggest challenges yet and they NAILED it.

I was worried about the scale but this is right on target. It's a perfect blend between Elijah and his little person stand in. I was worried it would feel like Elijah's head stuck on a little body... but this looks like... well, a hobbit.

Nice to see Hot Toys and Sideshow working together... Great time to be a collector.

Sam looks decent, thank goodness.

Frodo looks even better in these shots, probably due to the natural lighting.

I think I'll be super-glueing those shin splits, sanding down and repainting to match up the feet. Should really improve not only the look but the strength of the legs.
