They also said in the CIV Q&A that SS' collaboration with HT would extend to all body types.
What do you mean by tossing them a bone, like Sideshow shouldn't list them as a collaborator? It seems like HT and Sideshow are teaming up on a few products. And while the Prometheus was not made with them, I'm pretty sure the armored body was.
First, no harm Josh, I know you're not trying to argue, it's all good.
The reason I think this will be the way of things with new body figures is because A) the new ball joint wrists will mean new hand molds so probably come up with some new hands as they have, Indy has a fist hand, B) Hot Toys, like Sideshow, once used harder material for their heads as well as sculpted necks, but they've taken an evolution to the current materials like the Pirates line and the 2 joint neck, and I think the same will come for Sideshow, these new bodies will start an evolution in the overall construction of figures beyond just what body they're built upon. Just observations based on what I've seen.

Yup, the new armor body clearly has HT True Type designs to it, the chest and limb joints.
I don't see why Joshy wouldn't want to see the collaboration continue.
HT has the cutting edge technology and inovation, sideshow has the licenses and unequaled customer service.
Together they are unbeatable.

And it may not say so on the boxes, but in the future there will be more interaction between the companies on specific figures.
