...aside from ONE of my friends mothers (and she's way more of an alien freak)... no one else I know is into this crap. Like, they like the movies and all, but I gots no ones to nerd out with in person.

I was always facinated with Brother Boar, he has all this fur and stuff on his right arm, then just a thin piece of cloth on his left. No traditional gauntlets with blades and computer. He really looks like a "Hunter" imo.

It's a style he shares with 'Snake' - the major difference between their armour seems to be Snake's torso armour, which is why I think they'd make a great hybrid. You could leave the helmet off for a movie-accurate Snake, or omit the armour for Brother Boar.

I think HT should have invented a Bio for Borg instead of giving him a Bio that wasn't his. Then again I know collectors will like that though since they can use that Bio and kitbash their own Boar using that Bio and spare P2 parts. Still.. I think a unique Boar like Bio that matched with his chest armor (lots of wires/computer look to it) would've been cool. But either way it doesn't matter since he doesn't wear a Bio in the film and because the face sculpt looks good enough (especially with the open mandibles) that I doubt many buyers will display him with a Bio anyways. So kinda win/win since collectors will get a Borg figure + a Bore Bio for kitbashing etc.

Sidenote: Even though it's a P2 head, I noticed the dreads are WAYYYYY Better than the P2 ones. Way Better!

I'll probably buy every Lost Hunter they release unless they release all of them within one month.

If they spaced them out, I should be grabbing them, one by one.

Illogical though the above statement sounds, I completely agree.

As I said as the start of this thread, I reckon HT can make 4 really worthwhile Lost Hunters while giving the customising fraternity the parts to make all 8; it's just that in the film, most of the Lost Hunters don't have enough wargear to match up with the standard for a full HT release, hence giving 'Borg' gear from 2 other Predators to make up the set. I like this, you get a good bang for your buck from the release.

OTOH, if SS/HT were to release 'special editions' of the Lost Hunter kit - say repaints with a couple of extra P2 components - which were designed to be built up as movie-accurate Boar and Hippie figures... I'd buy them, purely out of completionist tendencies, to go with my existing 12(!) HT Predators and the minimum 2 extra I now expect to buy (Borg + P1). Totally irrational, I know, but rather like buying both Ancient Predators. My wallet rather hopes that doesn't happen though .

Yep, about 1 per quarter would work nicely for me. I don't mind being milked, as long as it's over a suitable time period.

I really like that P1 and Samurai Pred! The dulled down appearance of the Samurai looks great. I have seen some that look just...meh..... like they were painted with red gloss nail polish.

Hot Toys needs to pump one of these out!
