Future Lost Hunters - what to you expect and want?

People are forgetting they can't even make all 8. Only a few have facial designs, the others have bio-helmets and never show their faces. So if they are going to make others (wich i doubt) they will make Hippie or Snake.

^^^Actually No. They made Chopper and Celtic from AVP and you never see their faces. Basically they'll just mimic the body paint jobs on the heads or give them a bland, generic head like Chopper/Celtic. The biggest problem with making all 8 is what I pointed out here and in the other thread (about this figure): ALL the lost hunters are rehashes of Predator 2. Some have minor changes.. but basically all of them share armor, weapons, etc. with P2. Some.. like Boar and Gort are EXACT copies of P2, they just have different body colors and different Bios. In other words, if Hot Toys released those 2 figures they would just be repainted P2 figures with different bios and different paint jobs. Straight recycled.

I think HT releasing Borg WITH a Boar Bio is a clear indication they have no plans to release Boar as a stand alone figure (since if you have a spare P2 or get one from ebay with the Boar Bio you can simply MAKE ONE). They might just opt to make the lost hunters that have slight variations and skip like Gort and Boar (but include their Bios with the figures that didn't have a bio in the film). So maybe if they do Hippie or Snake next.. they'll include a Gort Helmet, etc. Right now they gave Borg 1. a Boar Bio and 2. Hippie's spear. Maybe that's another indication that HT has no plans to release a Hippie lost hunter figure too. Who knows.

I actually completely agree with you.

If Hot Toys did make the Preds that were TOTALLY rereleased P2's, with the same armor and all, I'd skip them, and grab their bio helmets on Ebay.

I'd love a REAL Hot Toy's 1/6 Gort bio, so if they did do one more, like Snake per se, I'd hope they'd release a Gort with him.

I think they will. Also like someone else pointed out (I forget who said it, sorry) I (and that dude) think HT will eventually release ALL the skulls featured in P2 on the Pred ships Trophy wall. They gave the Battle damaged version of P2 the Alien Skull. Borg is getting this skull:

That Skull on the left (the big one with 4 eye sockets) man.. that's ill.

I wonder why HT never attempted to make their own trophy wall displays for their Predator figures. I'm sure everyone would buy it, since most people make their own, or try. All the skulls from P2 or even some from AVP:R.. maybe like a $50 price tag. I'd get one.

'Big Red' is from the Batman: Dead End fan film, and he's only seen for a few seconds. Here's a few pics:

It seems like his popularity is there with people who are hardcore Predator fans, and I bet if Hot Toys based a figure on him, it'd be a big seller for the look alone. A few custom ones do pop up on ebay from time to time.

Well they could always make Comic versions.. like they're doing with Machiko. Maybe Broken Tusk, etc. Does anyone know if HT got a license from Dark Horse to make Machiko? Or does the license with Fox (aliens/predator) cover that?

no problem man. i've got it on my computer and have watched it so many times in hopes that they make a follow up to it. i think the bio mask is still up for sale on predator stuff too.
