While I agree it'd make sense for the time off to develop the more complex figures, to put everything on hold for that, to me, is stupid. If on hold really is for development, it's a dumb move, collectors will be lost in the wait period. Continue standard human figures during the time, at the pace it's been going, 2 figures a year, there's enough non-complex LOTR figures can be made in that time to keep the line running while the complex stuff is in development.

I agree.. 3 to 4 years from now.. A Lot of collectors are going to disapear. On hold is never a good thing... Slow it down fine.

The POTA PF only says that they will never make POTA 12"ers again.

I don't think its On Hold for any R&D issues, I agree thats stupid... I think its on hold because momentum in the line is all but non-existant... a circumstance with promise of changing when the hullabaloo over the Hobbit starts.

If that's the case then I'm sticking with HT Preds and going back to collecting military stuff. If they start up again that much later I don't know if I'll still be interested. C'est la vie.

Damn straight, I get both of my favorite characters in this line, and 1 of them, the tentative last, came out fantastic, can't wait until Wednesday.

I agree. I'm sure glad I picked up a DiD Gimli earlier this year. Gimli was one of the figures I was looking forward to the most. It'll be a lot easier to customize him with the DiD figure as a base.

If somebody can be commissioned to sculpt heads of Merry and Pippin, they could be customized with spare parts from Frodo and Sam. Then at least the Fellowship will be complete.

Well, that sucks, but maybe it is because some people lost interest with the delayed release and now with this "On Hold" news....

i bet they had plans for the rest of the fellowship and it wasn't until gandalfs slow sell and the hobbit stall that they stopped working on them. i wonder how far they got.

Only downside is it sucks for all the customers who don't come here, they won't know, they'll just wonder when new figures'll come out.

Guys? Enjoy your Gandalf mmmmmmk? It's the best 1/6 Gandy ever made so just enjoy it. Whether the line is dead or not, i really don't give a ^^^^ anymore.(sucks but what ya gonna do?) I get to look at my GTG on my shelf next to Frodo soon......And that is an encouraging thought indeed.

So true. It does suck that we'll have to wait a while for the next one, but in the mean time we'll have to enjoy the rest of this kick ass line!!!!
