Indy having a new body and Obi-Wan having a new body and armor at the same price is the reason it's selling so slow. Gandalf on the Buck is looking like a bad deal to folks.

Has it been confirmed that he's still on the buck or are we just assuming?

It's been confirmed he's on the Buck.

And he wasn't a PPO - he just went up during ToyFair, like Indy.

It is a shame that he's not as popular as Indy or Obi. I think once people start seeing him in person it will change a lot of minds about him being too expensive.

I think Gandalf is suffering from all the cool stuff released during TF cost so much it forced people to choose between things. If he had been released back when the picture was spotted it would have been huge. Everyone thats eager to see the new body ordered Indy, and everyone that has been anxiously awaiting armor ordered Obi Wan. Thats $270 in one week IF you didn't order the babysitter.

I'm waiting for the week where I have to pay for all three at once.:monkey2

poor wallet

Amazing this thing still has yet to sell out.

yes, because these are starting to get unaffordable to most people..soon the next lotr 12" will be 99.99, then 109.99 you watch! its coming! just like gas and oil prices are going up and predicted to go higher.Gas prices are rumored to soon hit $5-6 a gallon because of our dollar losing its value (its going bankrupt, as history has always shown that a paper money standard always fails). Not to mention the Fed prints money out of nothing with no gold backing.Food is going up in price and has yet to stop and likely wont! This inflation is caused by a de-valued dollar.Soon people wont even look at this stuff because they need to buy things they need to survive. So get used to it and the prices of these figures, unless you decide when enough is enough!
Yeah, some of you laugh at my comments and I know some dont, but this is still yet a Free country and as a collector and an informed person, When are we gonna start wondering why prices are truely going up?

So who is left to do in the fellowship? The dwarf and the other 2 hobbits?

Yep. We now have 6 of the 9 in the Fellowship:

Aragorn
Legolas
Boromir
Frodo
Sam
Gandalf

All that is left are:

Gimli
Merry
Pippin

Truthfully, if that's all we get left from the entire line I'll be satisfied, though I would like to see Sauron, Saruman, Ring Wraiths and some others as well. We need some bad guys!

I agree with most of what you are saying. I'm only hoping that some of the expensive pieces will come down in value during this apparent recession so I can pick them up at a price that is a little out of my league for right now.

If Gandalf turns out to have a low ES, I don't think he will be dropping in price. Same thing happened to modern Kurgan and some of the Xfiles characters limited to 500, slow sellouts with higher secondary prices.

I wouldn't take too much of what teemu says about that as gospel. It is a little more complicated than that. Trust me.
