I paid 600eur for the GtG EX. I know it's much but I have been obsessing with this piece for a long time and gifted him to myself for birthday

Wouldn't have worked out anyway because I am from Europe and wouldnt want to add another 200eur to the price

It's been awhile since I have visited LOTR thread. I'm debating weather to get Gandalf or Saruman PF to go with my Sauron. I want to get your opinion on which is the better choice in term of details, paint and quality. Thanks in advance for your inputs.

I don't have Gandalf but Saruman is a very nice piece. Both would be a good a addition to the collection.

I would say it depends on the display you want. A "bad guy" setup or more balanced with GTG. You can't go wrong either way and Saruman can still be picked up for about half what GTG costs. That said if I had to keep only one or the other I would hold onto GTG.

The good thing about GTG is that you don't need the EX because the REG is better.

At first I was thinking bad guys setup, but I'm planning to get one so I think GTG is a good representative of good and bad and best value.

GtG is one of the best PFs there is.

But then again I prefer more the good guy/girl setup than bad guys.

Ran out of room in my cabinets, so I moved him onto my desk. Something to look at while I'm at work. Also used the spray bottle tip someone posted a while back to smooth out the wrinkles in the fabric. Noticeable improvement.
