I'd agree with that. I think there are a lot of people looking to make a quick buck off Marvel.

The same could be said about the Weta LoTR line when those early grail pieces were released. People paying way over the odds.

Marvel collectors are a strange bunch, i should know as i am one. There have been so many variations of the same character due to the different artists work over the ages and everyone has their favourites. Without doubt for me at least (and i collect LoTR, Star Wars, Buffy, Alien and Predator lines from SS) Marvel is KING with the most dynamic poses and biggest satisfaction among their collectors, wereas Star Wars and LoTR collectors tend to nit-pick human likenesses.

I have none of the other LSB's but I'm gonna have a hard time canceling that Gandalf

I ordered the LSB Gandalf too, and glad I did when I saw the low production run. I found the LSB Morgul Lord for ~$180 (shipped) on Ebay and picked that up, but only cause it was relatively cheap. Maybe I'm gonna get some crap for saying this, but I don't think I'd want the cave troll (too ugly) or the Sauron (too big and too $$$). Keep the quality and scale like the gandalf and I'll keep buiying; the beginning of that line did nothing for me till Gandalf.
