What'd you get? Noobs mostly start out with Pad Thai or Pad Kee Mow.

I had some type of Steak Appetizer that was on lettuce with two interesting dipping sauces and then something called Nic Po or Nik Po or Nik Pa.

Basically it was steak, peppers, onions, and very hot peppers with white rice. It fracking ruled!

Just looked it up. It was called Pad Prik Roa.

They even had something on the menu called Phucit 56!

Overall I am not very impressed with the update. The more they change it the more suck it gets.

I lost count of how many people using a lag switch we ran into tonight. As much as I'd like to get all the new achievements I would almost equally like to trade this game in.

It could be that the game is fine, but playing a bunch of douche bag lag ***'s is the real problem.

I wouldn't say trade it in. That is just me hoping one day Epic will do a couple back flips and pull their heads out of their *****.

Seriously this game is the best out there IMO when it comes to shooters. Until you get online. Then it all goes to ^^^^.

Oh it works well in other shooters as well, BUT there seems to be a much bigger group that uses it more ofter in Gears. Maybe it's due to the "Die and you're done for the round" style of execution and warzone games. People want to be the "awesome" player in the match so they cheat their sorry little ***** off.

Wow when I was in the party earlier everybody was pretty positive on the update. Get up this morning and now its worthless, what went wrong?

It's not a lag switch issue. Those are very uncommon... it's not like the odds where you'd play 15 matches in a night, and in 6 of those matches, the other team has a player using a lag switch. I'd say more like 1 in 30... at the most.

It's an issue with how Epic made the matchmaking and hosting system. Been that way since Gears 1, and seems to have gotten worse on Gears 2.

Chainsaws now work only 50% of the time. You go to grab it and nothing happens. I glitched all over the map several times. I would run half way through the map and glitch all the way back to spawn. The shotgun seemed to be ineffective at best. And the lag was horrible.

It seems like everytime they try to update something they just end up making it worse. Like I said in the other thread. At this point I would be more than happy to just go back to playing 1.

I hear ya. Sucks that such a great game has such a ^^^^ty multiplayer b/c of online instability and programming issues.

It really is a damn shame. I have been so disgusted with the multiplayer that I haven't really even gone and played the game at the harder settings like I did the first one. It just pisses me off.

Maybe its time to break out Halo 3 again the only problem most of us had with that game was the standbye mode but if we have enough players we can do private matches.
