I stand by what I have said since the beginning "I play for fun and to have a good time with friends."

Same here. I admit to getting competitive at times but for the most part I'm ok with how I play.

I'll get competitive about something that matters

Such as? I mean games are what they are. Someone wins and someone loses. I don't generally play with the hope of losing. I try to win. I let my temper get the best of me at times, but I am competitive by nature I guess. I mean I am trying to win.

In all honesty it's not even "losing" because Kain beat me at Madden and I don't get pissy. Kain, Josh and I lost at Halo Wars and I don't get pissy. It's just how inconsistant Gears can be that drives me insane at times.

Who gets angry just because they are not top dog? I stated above in my last post why the game drives me nuts at times.

Agreed. It drives me smack insane at times. Nothing like shooting someone 6 times while they smile at you and then shoot you once and kill you. It's really what gets me so worked up at times. It's not that I have to kill a specific player or anything stupid like that. I just want the game to work the way it should and it doesn't at least half the time.

Well, like I said, my stat tracking was because I was curious. I am not the only one to ever look at them. Also, it's not about being top dog over my friends. It's about the damn game not working the way it's supposed to at least half the time. That's where my post about Gears 3 multiplayer came from.

Whatever karma. I am not going to argue with you. If you want to assume that I only care about being top dog then you win. That's all I care about. I don't want to have fun with you guys. I just want to be the best.

Totally agree. I've said before Gears has the potential to be one of the best series ever for games but they just keep coming up short because of issues they won't resolve.

Exactly. On point 100%. I love the hell out of these games, but they just won't fix what's broken and it drives me mad when playing. I try to figure it's 50/50 and other players go through what I do when I am on host team, bt it doesn't help when you still get robbed

Exactly. On point 100%. I love the hell out of these games, but they just won't fix what's broken and it drives me mad when playing. I try to figure it's 50/50 and other players go through what I do when I am on host team, bt it doesn't help when you still get robbed

It happens to everyone but like you said its still annoying and when they do fix things they tend to go overboard the other direction. Like the shottie when it first came out couldn't kill a ping pong ball.

Yep. People said the shottie was too strong in Gears 1 so they made it worthless in Gears 2 at first. I dunno, I mean if I shoot someone with a shotgun from 5 feet away it SHOULD kill them I think.

Well, from what I understand of guns thats usually how it works.

Yeah, I got better once I figured out the no aiming no longer worked. I remember being pwned so many times because I never used to aim the shottie in Gears 1 and then we found out that unless you aimed in Gears 2 you were just shotting the ground
