Gears of War 2

In the 4th title update you can gain EXP in Horde...that's pretty cool.

Yeah, thats great! I will play more if thats the case cause playing public is well ok at best most of the time.

Honestly after my last few public matches I have come to accept this......this game is about one thing and one thing only. HOSTING........If you're on the host team you will probably win and if you're not you will probably lose.

If you have a host who's even a decent player he's going to destroy most of the time and his team will probably win 80% of the time.

I have had pleanty of good matches when not on the host team where I still rack up 10-15 kills in execution, but most of the time the host team will still win the match. It's generally very easy to tell who the host is by end of a match too and it's not even just by total nuber of kills. The host is nearly bullet proof much of the time. They can stick you with a torque bow arrow after torquing for a half a second and so on.

I am seriously giving a lot of thought about if i will or won't buy Gears 3 if Epic won't break down and get dedicated servers.

Ok, I'll probbaly buy if for the campaign, but if they still go with this "host rules" BS I don't know how much I would want to subject myself to the multiplayer anymore.

I will still play Gears 2. I own it and it's a love/hate relationship with it. I am just saying it will probably be another year and half before we see Gears 3 and by that time it will have been 3 years ( for me ) of "Host or lose" and that may be enough for me by that time.

My stats in public as far as K/D ratio are really only 2nd to ill's among us, but it's still beyond frustrating to not only have to deal with glitchers, but the ridiculous host advantage as well. I played a match of warzone the other day and had 0 kills and 5 deaths and 10 POINTS the entire match despite dumping full clips of lancer into people. Nothing even registered to gain points. it was ridiculous. the best player on my team had 1 kill the entire match and that was a luck chainsaw kill. It's just frustrating.
