Kings beat the Cavs and Warriors within weeks of each other, but alas, will mentally crumble and still miss the 8th seed.

Entertaining game between the Cavs and the Wizards last night, especially since it was a "meaningless" midseason game with the All Star Break around the corner. Turned on the game in the 4th quarter as I was building a POS IKEA storage unit.

Kevin Love made another strong case why he should NOT be traded for Carmelo. 39 (11 for 11 from the line), 12 boards, 3 assists, 3 steals...and an amazing out of bounds pass to LeBron to hit the three to send it to overtime. Carmelo would take the shot from out of bounds instead of passing it.

You guys know that was a certain someone who got banned using another account, right? Hence said user being banned now.

Filip, you had many back and forths with him.

Sure isn't boring as a Warriors fan. They play at a level that is a joy to behold. They may fall apart at some point, but they are just so damn good right now. I was watching the Kings vs Pellys tonight, and it looks like both of those teams are college teams compared to the Dubs.

Does anyone know what started the whole thing?

I'm not sure, but reading up on it, Oakley has been critical of the way Dolan has been running the Knicks. Oakley doesn't get invited to the Garden, and bought his own ticket the night this went down. Depending on what you read, he was making critical comments about Dolan, who was a few rows away, and Dolan had security attempt to escort Oakley out of the arena.

Based on the general behavior policy of the arena, I guess Dolan was within his rights to do so, but all Oakley did was tantamount to heckling. Now yes, it escalated after he was asked to leave (any late 80's/90's era NBA fan KNOWS that Charles Oakley does NOT like having anyone put their hands on him) but it could have still have been handle better.

What happened afterwards though, is Dolan just being a ******. He (via the Knicks) had a press release intimating that Oakley has a drinking problem. Dolan is a recovering alcoholic, and a recovering alcoholic accusing someone else of having a drinking problem is pretty sanctimonious.

Then for the Spurs game, Dolan reached out to Latrell Sprewell and had him at the game, sitting next to him. A clear shot at Oakley, since Spree left the Knicks on bad terms as well.

He has doubled down on the idea he has a drinking problem. Then he went even further bringing someone who has been at odds with to the game. If I was Knicks fan I would not attend any game or watch on TV. Make tickets sales and rating plummet and he may figure out he is the problem yet make more excuses about how it's not him.
