I had the LDs but ended up getting a very nice PAL LD to DVD transfer.

However, the official 480p originals on DVD will be even better quality!!

I would NEVER watch the SEs again. Way too many things were ruined.

Once again, AWESOME news!!!!!!

Now bring on the originals on HD-DVD or BD.

These will cost like $40, and will be the best quality OT EVER released on home video. What's the problem? Most of us have spent WAY more than that to get quality bootlegs of these.

How can someone get MAD about him relenting on something so wonderful?

I NEVER thought I would see the day that Lucas released these on DVD. Even more crazy than that is someone pissed off that they're coming out. That's even more far-fetched than Lucas releasing them, IMO.

There's damned if you do and damned if you don't, but this is ridiculous.

Salivating actually... This is cool news. I love the original ending music to ROTJ. It just sounds more joyous (as opposed to the newer versions sedate Jon Tesh music). Though I must admit, I prefer Hayden at the end...
