Nice work, K! My suits look funny in pictures for some reason. The color looks all distorted. :gah:

They look great, Tekka! :clap That's the new benchmark, boys!

Love those shots mando:)
Great sculpt indeed, spot on to that scene.
If I had a ray I would pick one up striaght away.
Still might:)

Thanks, man. :duff I definitely reccommend the sculpt. I think Rocco's only got a coupe left of that one too.

"Go get her, Ray!"

Same here. They actually look better in-hand, but the flash is probably not helping. They definitely look different in different lighting similar to the movie.

Here are some more pics of the awesome Venkman that Skiman graciously took on painting for me:

Goggles are reworked all but for a small piece I need to add to the right lens assembly.

I did a little re-sculpt of the front of Ray's hair so the goggles meet more smoothly. I need to sculpt the straps so that they properly attach to the outside of the goggle frame. But the best way to do that would be to permanently attach the goggles so I could sculpt the tabs directly onto the frame into into the existing straps. But attaching the goggles before painting the head would make it more difficult to paint the head. Which is a problem for whomever I send this guy to for painting. I tried sculpting tabs which overlap so it could be glued on after, but I didn't like the look. You can see on of the tabs still attached in the picture. Dilemmas dilemmas..

Excellent mods there Green. What did you use as the base for those pieces?

I recently picked up some cheap black gloves as a test. They look pretty decent on Truetype hands, and work well hanging from the belt if you want to go with bare hands. They will stain hands black, though. I used a little piece of wire to shape the glove to fit on the belt.

The news lens assemblies were scratch built from styrene and aluminum tubes along with some brass rods. Unfortunately my replica ecto goggles are at my brothers place along with my replica ghost traps and proton pack.

But here is an excellent reference of some superb replica ecto goggles from a stand up dude on the RPF:

Don't use the matty collector ones as a hard reference. They are garbage.

I'm still debating adding the bolts in the corners of the faceplate. I wouldn't bother mimicking the actual socket head of the bolts. I would just use a little brass rod for the appearance.

Wow. That's well beyond my skill set, but very cool to see what you've come up with. I think your Ray will be the envy of many when all is said and done.

Same glasses a I posted previously, these were not painted black, I had an extra pair. I think they were azone/Kotbukiya, but I ordered a better rounder pair that's coming from hobby links japan. They haven't arrived yet, so I used the old silver pair.

Enjoying these from a far. I spent too much on the 1:1 scale stuff (probably burned me out). Awesome job Seb!
