... Heads, boots and elbow pads are what I need now that I've got a set of figures.. any suggestions?

Is it still possible to get the spenser heads?

Boots are easy if you don't need 100% screen accuracy (no side zipper), as the Newline boots I mention in the 2nd post work really well. Mando did a few runs of elbow pads, but is apparently done. Astrozombie made some in the past, but doesn't look like he will do any more. Unless you can find someone re-selling theirs, you will probably need to buy some existing pads off of EBay.

Heads--Spenser and Rocco are your best bets. Rocco's come up from time to time. I don't know anything about the availability of Spenser's, though someone posted not long ago that they were waiting over a year for him to deliver them.

My goal was to have my 1/6 Ghostbusters done by Halloween. Not done, but close.

Looks great. This may be a really stupid question, so I apologize in advance, but when you shortened the hose, does it disconnect from the pack or the wand easily to cut it and then replace it? I hate how long the hoses are on the packs and never thought to shorten them.:cuckoo::slap

Yes very easy.
Just take the pack off the rig. It is held on with 2 pegs.
Then undo the bottom 3 screws and you can ease the proton pack back off.
Then you can get the hose out, as it has a plug on the end.
Then cut about 2 inchs off the length.
You can adjust the length by putting some of the hose in the backpack and it will hold in place fine.
I’ll put some pics up to show better:)

Ease it gently off by hand. You can undo all the screws but I wouldn’t as it might be a pig and fall apart.
So just do the bottom 3 and use the hose to gently open the back pannel enough to wget the plug out.

Then you can chop the peg and excess off.

Adjust to what length you want. The cut end of the hose will hold in place fine no meed to reattach the plug really.

Put back together. Just be carefull of the button for the lights as it will fall out if you tip the pack while open.

Awesome! Thanks for the pics. :hi5: I wanted to removed the batteries from the packs anyways because of the possibility for corrosion. I will just add this to the list when I do that.

Saw this thread pop up so I figured I'd post this in here. I have one set of eight GB pads (no elastic) left. They're already painted they just need a home.:exactly:it

SOLD.
