Redyed my mattel overalls, happy with the result, need to get a new name tag and repainting my elbow pads.
Not the best pic but love the expression cracks me up.

What is the preferred jumpsuit / dye combination people have been using? I have been debating using the mattel suits or not.

I used Soldier Story flight suits, and dyed them gray a bit, following some advice from earlier in this thread. But they aren't long enough to work well for Venkman.

I am considering ordering the suits to dye... are these the ones that would be a good jumping off point? I just want to make sure I am getting the ideal starting color.

What belts have people been using to replace the horrible plastic mattel ones?

Search for 1/6 scale pistol belts. Some are plastic, some are cloth. I used the cloth ones, that were around $8 a piece. The ones I had were tan at first, and I used watered down white paint to get them the right color.
