I see this thread is gradually turning the haters into lovers? A couple of positive reviews and the internet has to stay friends with the critics...
Just like the trailers indicated its a funny action adventure movie. It may not be amazing but it never looked horrible like everyone was saying.

That's what happens when you are 2 LEGIT.Wish I had bailed. That's my problem, sometimes I just don't know when to quit.
I had a Marty McFly.I'll admit that I have G.O.T , N.O. stormtroopers, and Deadpool POPS.
Yeah but will it live up to this.well well well, all that hate for nothing. Just like the trailers indicated its a funny action adventure movie. It may not be amazing but it never looked horrible like everyone was saying. As a plus kids get to watch something other than talking animals and superheroes, ghosts! not enough kids horror type movies out there. Pretty excited to see this
Nope
Wow. I guess I haven’t watched GB in a long time because that clip made it look really dated and old-fashioned! I mean, obviously, since it’s been 32 years! The pace seems slow and awkward and even the dialogue seems to have a peculiar rhythm. And I remember originally watching it and feeling like the movie was fast and non stop jokes and action. Now just that clip makes it seem tame and even quaint, even with the cursing!
Pacing and editing styles have changed dramatically in 32 years.

I suppose it's sexist to ask why a woman is writing movie reviews for GQ. But, I guess this is what they pay her for ...
"Ghostbusters shoots its misogynistic critics right in the d***."
That's the title. Of a movie review. Written by a woman. IN A MEN'S MAGAZINE. And ... it's the 'critics' who are sexists. Apparently.
I dare some dude to write a review about any movie "kicking misandrist critics in the tw**". Then, publish it in Cosmopolitan. His life would be ruined ... and then he'd be drawn-and-quartered.

I have a feeling this will go the way of BvS....LOTS of GREAT opening week reviews....then a solid slow down spiral into mediocrity...
I doubt it. The hype and reviews of this movie aren't about the movie. They're about "shooting misogynists in the d***". There was never any chance that the media would publish reviews that said "Y'know ... the 'sexists' were kinda right; that sucked."
Reviewers went in looking for anything to like because giving an honest review is less important than proving wrong a bunch of backward neanderthals. I've seen a LOT of reviews -- like the video review above -- that came to "good" or "go see it" or "B+" conclusions, when the content of the review was mostly critical. They all say "it's not as bad as the haters promised" ... which is exactly the prepackaged conclusion you'd expect when they have to criticize the critics but what's left of their integrity won't allow them to give it a full stamp-of-approval.

What I got from Grace's review
1.The movie has become a SJW cause, so see it this weekend. But watch out for those mean misogynists that are going to disrupted the movie ( BTW isn't that what SJWs do?)
2 Chris Hemsworth plays a great dumb hunk.
3 Buy a lot of popcorn and treats, to help you get past the crappy parts of the movie.
