Ghostbusters reboot with all-female leads

With all the backlash against this, most critics seem afraid to give their honest opinion in the review(s). So they point out the good and the bad, but never saying what they want to. We need an honest review from a female who does not like it. But she'll just be labeled a traitor to her own gender...

I think this a case of geek culture over-valueing it's importance.

The movie will do whatever it does at the BO and unless it's blockbuster no-one will be talking about it in a few months.

Saw the movie today. It's so so bad. I couldn't believe how bad it actually was. I was very disappointed with it, was hoping it wasn't as bad as the trailers but it was far worse.

Chris Hemsworth’s character is described as the best part of the movie. Genuinely hilarious, but they portray him as a total idiot.
In addition to his character, every single man in the movie is portrayed as either an idiot or A-hole.
Capping that off, the final battle is a giant “F Men” statement as the Ghostbusters kill the final boss (a giant version of the Ghostbusters logo) by shooting their Proton Packs at its junk..

I honestly have to wonder if the female ghostbusters were all hot women, if you all would be bitching the way you are. I know crows wouldn't.

As for Chris Hemsworth, so what if his character is stupid? How many times have there been dumb women in movies? Dumb secretaries? Airheads? It's a comedy. The crotch thing is one of the oldest shticks there is. Jackass pretty much makes whole movies of it. You're making too much of this.

Anyhow, I have no desire to see this, and I don't care how it does at the box office. It's going to do better than most have thought though.

I have to deal with enough nerd hate about a movie I'm really looking forward to next week, Star Trek Beyond. Here's hoping it blows this movie off the top (and it will be on top after this weekend, sorry).
