One movie allegedly portraying white men as dummies and the white male privilege machine goes into overdrive :lol

So we have this.....

He man woman haters who hated it from the trailer....and still hate it after seeing it. (Sexist men)
Woman who want to see guys put in their place and prove woman can lead a blockbuster (feminist woman)
People who like it cause the internet nerds poo poo'd it (nerd haters)
People who liked it cause most people though the trailer looked terrible (counter culture)

What I have to see is a real opinion on the story , comedy, acting, direction, effects and plot....

Personally I think I will hate it just because of the way Paul Feig carries himself... (Better than most reasons I think)

I'm gonna see this with an open mind, but doesn't Feig get a tiny bit of leeway for dressing like a fourth string Batman villain? Or does that make it worse?

kinda worse, it is kinda pretentious a lil bit, i get dressing up for special stuff but it looks like he did every day on set, most directors just put on a t shirt and jeans lol.
i dont know, dressing up is good but doing it every day makes it like he might be a very stiff person. not genuine. (kinda reminds me of Dexter) whats Mr Feig hiding I wonder .

Story kinda weak, comedy decent, acting pretty good accept for hems worth, direction ok, effects meh and plot pretty ****

I could care less they are chicks just wanted to enjoy it

an interesting fact about this movie.

Sony needs to make at least 500 million to break even. the budget (including marekting) is almost 280 million. ( studio has spent an estimated $144M after rebates and tax credits, and about the same on P&A. Village Roadshow is co-producing.)

I don't think this is one of those movies that can count on China to bail it out. Although, I'm wondering if that's why they released that clip of them testing the equipment, in the hopes that the Chinese will be fooled into thinking this is another Iron Man movie.

On my Facebook page the other day, there was an ad for clip on manbuns. :lol

You should start a blog entitled Facebook Horror Stories from The Ween.:lol

You never accepted the bet so it doesn't count, but I was wrong about the Rotten Tomato score. I admit it. Hopefully that's clear to whoever says they never see anyone admit when they're wrong in these forums.
