I'm just spit balling a number, but I wouldn't see why it wouldn't make more. There's been plenty of **** burgers in the past to pull in a truck load of cash.

The whole damn thing looked stupid. Only a few seconds in and there's slime facial, c'mon. I'm not sure why Jones is being singled out, all she's doing is what McCarthy does in her other movies, but McCarthy is playing it straight here so somebody else had to fill that role.

Well, considering Midnighter's one of my faves, I have a whole folder full of pics. Sigh, what world is this where Midnighter's a nobody and this..."thing" above exists? It's a mad world, mad I tell you! Let's ask Middy how he feels (please excuse the poor Photoshop):

Yep, I just called every theater in Minnesota and they all said that every showing for its entire theatrical run is already sold out which "is unprecedented considering tickets haven't gone on sale yet." The last lady I talked to also agreed that the score for TFA was fantastic.

Ok, after watching that I have a few thoughts:

1. 30 years since GB1. Man i'm getting old.

2. I need to watch both movies again when they saved New York 2 times. And the game where they saved it a third time. Thanks for reminding me these awesome movies and games exist trailer!

3. So at least GB1 happened in this universe... so are the originals gonna franchise their rights out or sue them for using their name and logos? Did their copyright run out?

4. The ghosts look ok... i just like the way they look in the original movies though. The library ghost from GB1 looks way cooler and scarier in both her forms than the one that was spewing ectoplasm in the new trailer.

5. I lost count, how many sliming gags were there? I remember 2. Also, I think I saw Slimer. Bet ya Stay Puft and Vigo will have call backs too.

6. They had a of of jokes, but i didn't really think any of them were funny. Go watch the original GB1 trailer. Every line out of Peter's mouth is pure gold.

7. Probably shouldn't lick your particle throwers connected and stored in a proton pack.

The trailer was neither funny nor scary, just seemed to be aping the original plot but with women, cgi and a possibly racially tonedeaf update. Kinda telling the main villain is a giant ghost of the iconic ghostbusters logo and the franchise is in effect battling itself.
