Bill Murray's no Chevy Chase. . .or Dan Aykroyd for that matter. I would be very surprised if he came out publicly supporting something that just sucks. Just doesn't fit with his personality.

Dan Aykroyd hasn't been a relevant voice in comedy in years. There isn't anything he can say that will make me believe this is a good/funny film.

I think the last film I saw him in was Tommy Boy.

There were creepy elements to it, but no, not scary. Agreed. I saw it and LOVED it as a 4 year old and both my boys loved it at that age.

Library Ghost, demon dog hands coming out of the chair, and for me personally, the zombie taxi driver definitely were scary moments. I think that's one of the reasons Ghostbusters is a special film. There are genuinely creepy/scary elements, alongside the brilliant humor and fun of the film. And the threats are treated as totally legit. That last part is something I'm thinking we won't really see in this new movie. I suspect it will feel pretty staged and that the actors will be in on the joke, so to speak.

Movie will probably end up around the 80% score, just because of it. Its gonna be great!

You absolutely know this will happen . I think total gross will be the indicator of this film. I'm not going to watch it.

You may underestimate the number of critics that are into the 'girl-power thing' ... or the number that fear that giving a low rating to a clear feminist propaganda vehicle might get them labeled 'anti-girl'.

I doubt the critics will shred this as much as they should.

I agree with this unfortunately. All the shaming of those who have expressed their disappointment so far only means that it will get stronger with any reviews that are negative to this movie.

One thing that came good out of this train wreck of an idea was the return of merchandising of the old school products from the original films
