well this should start some interesting discussion...

"As originator of the original: Saw test screening of new movie. Apart from brilliant, genuine performances from the cast both female and male, it has more laughs and more scares than the first 2 films plus Bill Murray is in it! As one of millions of man-fans and Ray Stantz, I'm paying to see that and bringing all my friends!" - Dan Aykroyd

in before he was paid by Sony to say this... :lol

These are my favorite parts. It's like he's talking to children :lol

It's just too obvious, based Aykroyd.

Saw this on another forum and I guarantee you this is the #1 reason why most people will see this movie:

I'll be seeing Ghostbusters and Wonder Woman no matter the reviews because they're huge tentpoles and I want them to do well so studios know that women can lead these kinds of movies.

Again, it's all about Gender Politics.

People will see GB out of morbid curiosity, and probably most of the casual audience will like it.

But imo there's nothing wrong with WW being a gender tent pole.

Yeah, I give Wonder Woman a pass on that, too because... it's freakin' Wonder Woman, a true cultural (and gender) icon.

It's amazing how first world countries can have third world mentality. It has nothing to do with Ghostbusters being women, it's about a being a crappy movie. :slap

He is one of the executive producers, of course he's going to shill for it.

I have a feeling a lot more people would have skipped this movie but the angry nerds had to make such a stink that it's gotten more attention than it would have. I think you are going to hear about women going to see this just because they didn't like the backlash it received on the internet.

Plus we all know angry nerd = midnight Thursday screening.

Opening weekend will be okay for sure.

The more scares refers to the 4 chicks that were cast.

Bill Murray will also be prolly saying this is funnier than the original like Chevy Chase did with the Vacation reboot....

Dan Aykroyd hasn't been a relevant voice in comedy in years. There isn't anything he can say that will make me believe this is a good/funny film.
