I never reported the guy for anything. I doubt teemu ever did either. And you don't get banned for LOL'ing at someone.

Not liking The Hobbit had other repercussions for some members. The forum is incredibly inconsistent. Older members get a pass for a lot of things. There are members that are allowed to get away with antagonizing everyone with every post. Others get slammed for any little thing because a mod doesn't like them, even if they are well-liked by most everyone else. Then there are mods that troll members, post inappropriate gifs, etc.--stuff would get some people an infraction.

I sincerely doubt he was banned for that. Suspension maybe? Either way, he loved mocking people. Some of us argue, but I know some mods hate mocking for the sake of mocking.

I got banned for life for saying "I know you did it" to a mod who didn't like me when he deleted a post of mine. It was overturned later, but yeah it can be a bit uneven at times.
