I liked CelticPredator, he was a good boy, he didn't do nothin'. I didn't always agree with him, but he was fun to post with. Honestly, I hate, er, love all you guys pretty much evenly and would hate to see any of you get banned (yes, even that Xenoburger, La' quanda jewl bro). The only one I can't stand is the Motuxman. I don't know what CP did with the porn stuff, I don't judge. I mean, it couldn't have been any worse than what I posted early in my Sideshow career that Uncle Dave mercifully gave me a pass on.

I'm seriously thinking of retiring, hanging up the handle and getting out of this place. Maybe I can pass my name onto CP and he can live on as me. I'd offer it to WWEJedi, but I don't know how to communicate with him. My Jar Jar ebonics are a little off.

I can't get hyped anymore, I'm impotent when it comes to superhero and sci-fi movies. I can't get satisfaction from Dollies anymore either, specifically the Hot Toys variety.

In all seriousness though what was the last superhero/sci-fi film that you were really blown away by/geeked out over? I can't think of any that seemed to really impress you over at least the last couple years.

I know what you mean. I've been a whole lot less involved around here the last couple of years for that reason. BvS was the first "nerd" genre movie I've been all that excited about in years.

And, before ordering a Tyler Durden and Affleck Batman, I hadn't bought 1/6 figure since 2013. HT has been really underwhelming for the last while -- nothing particularly interesting, just figures they're obligated to make because they're neck deep in Marvel and Star Wars. I've tried to talk myself into buying some version of Cap ... but haven't pulled the trigger because mostly because there are way too many versions, and probably a half-dozen more coming in the next few years. No urgency. SSDD.

I mostly stay around for the occasional announcements of some independent figure that looks interesting, but is never quite good enough.

I refuse to use the word "impotent" to describe myself in any context, though.
