"That sexist backlash." What a freaking joke. Because no one can handle a female lead headlining a Star Wars film (twice--TFA and Rogue One.) Or The Hunger Games. Or Divergent. Or Furiosa upstaging Max in his own movie, etc. People just *hate* women having prominent roles in genre films and that's what the GB cast is fighting against.

Replacing the original GB characters with new female characters was an issue at the start however the female GB are the least of the movies problems now. The way it has been executed is poor. It looks like they're using the 'sexist backlash' theme as a tool to promote the movie and keep it in the spotlight.
