Yes. Yes it is. Has that horrible unfiltered HD look. Considering how cinematic the original was I don't get why they couldn't have at least shot with anamorphic lenses. I was just pointing out ****.

I agree with Rorywan that the ghost fx look fine. They look like apparitions. Since there are no such thing as ghosts, what is a movie one supposed to look like?

That Stay Puft isn't supposed to be real, it's not bad CG. It's supposed to be an actual balloon in the street parade, just shown out of context.

And they used a load of practical effects in this. Real people dressed as ghosts, animatronics etc.
Hate all you want on the movie and the ladies involved, that's completely subjective, but the VFX are not substandard from what we have seen so far. The super colorful look is actually pretty cool.

Well in that case.... good job! They really shouldn't have shown that in a TV spot though. But then again...this is the age of 50 TV spots and 6 clips and 5 trailers.
