The background of the GI Joe's figures are mad deep. To be honest I wish GI Joe will be great as the Dark Knight Trilogy. To make GI Joe into only a popcorn movie is almost blasphemy. Snake Eyes' history is really some deep ^^^^. GI Joe should be made in the mode of a war movie mix in with Godfather theme or something like that. ITs too much history to just make it a mediocre movie. They should hired the best screenwriters and get a top notch director to make this movie.
