Does the release of a figure mean that Firefly is in the movie?

That looks sweet. I'll buy it.

Sadly, I don't think they'll have to spin anything at SDCC. Fanboys may be the most vocal group of people in the world, but 99% of them are all talk and turn kiss ass in the presence of companies and filmmakers/actors in person.

Also, it seems like a lot of JOE fans elsewhere on the internet are actually still excited for this movie, which causes me to lose more hope for humankind.

Sadly thats is really the truth of it all.

From "the most highly anticipated movie of 2009..." :lol :duh

Damn. I could only make it 1/2 way through the blow-up doll RoboCop commercial before stopping it. Question, who scored the movie? Couldn't they use the soundtrack for ROC instead of ripping off Transformers?! :lol

As far as toys go, that is pretty impressive. As far as G.I. Joes go, this thing is an atrocity.

If I was still a kid that played with toys this thing would be the most boring p.o.s. you could imagine. You have a large and probably heavy and fragile toy that needs batteries to work, no villains for him to fight, a running function that's laughable and useless, weak-ass firing missiles, and a disturbing talking function that doesn't even work properly (I tried out the last talking Joe Hasbro made).
All this crap for...........a retail price of $70!!!

What ever happened to kids using their imagination like all of us did with the original Joes?

Those would be the ones who bought them video games instead of books.

Still, don't blame the games. Blame the parents who don't make their children focus in school, don't make them do their homework, who think a "time-out" is constructive, etc. Basically the parents who would provide great legal grounds for mandatory sterilization. Blame them. They're the ones who're failing society.
