Sadly, I don't think they'll have to spin anything at SDCC. Fanboys may be the most vocal group of people in the world, but 99% of them are all talk and turn kiss ass in the presence of companies and filmmakers/actors in person.
Also, it seems like a lot of JOE fans elsewhere on the internet are actually still excited for this movie, which causes me to lose more hope for humankind.

What ever happened to kids using their imagination like all of us did with the original Joes?
Sadly, most kids nowadays lack that. But then... so does television and Hollywood.
video games ate their imaginations.
Nah, I wouldn't blame it on video games. Maybe inept parents.
