Still, don't blame the games. Blame the parents who don't make their children focus in school, don't make them do their homework, who think a "time-out" is constructive, etc. Basically the parents who would provide great legal grounds for mandatory sterilization. Blame them. They're the ones who're failing society.

Basically 75% of parents today, shame

That seemed the concensus in my theater as well. Joe recieved many snickers and "wtf" responses. The entire trailer I kept imagining everything I'd of done different with it...:banghead

When the trailer came up before ROTF, I noticed that it had all of the "humorous" segments cut out. The only response from the audience was total silence.

Now it will be interesting to see if it gets bashed more than TF by the critics...

Is that figure really $70????????

Shockingly it is:

Yeah, it's pretty funny that they had the nerve to say that when you've got the Watchmen, Transformers sequel, Terminator Salvation, new Star Trek movie, Inglourious Basterds, etc, all coming out in '09! I mean, it's not even really that highly anticipated from the fanbase, let alone the general public...

Speaking of toys, I was at Toys R Us a
few days ago and I was surprised to see
a couple "Rise of Cobra" figures of Duke
and Snake Eyes. They were probably about
1/6 scale, but they looked cartoony and
almost superdeformed.

The Duke "talked" and they both had sound
effects. The talking feature was generic, but
it was the sound effects that totally ripped
my soul out. I'm not kidding when I say this:

They had Hannah Barbera Sound Effects! :horror

SERIOUSLY! :banghead

I almost cried. :monkey2

Went to Barnes and Noble today and found the novelization of G.I. Crap. Curious to see how Cobra Commander is revealed, I flipped to the end...

The "Doctor" uses the nano-mites to cover Destro's face, creating the silver mask. When Destro flips out on him, ol' Rex pulls out...an f-ing PDA and uses it to make the mask shock him. He tells Destro to call him "Commander" and their new organization will be called COBRA. He pushes another button on that damn PDA, and the panels with the M.A.R.S. logo on their sub flips over to reveal the Cobra logo

Good lord, that's the ending to a crappy cartoon!!!! What a ^^^^ing waste!!!
