Interesting that John Rhys-Davies was the tallest of all of them. Of course their apparent heights on screen varied a fair amount.

I'm still trying to hunt down a DiD GIMLI as well, with no luck at all yet.

I have been looking for that comp. picture. Gimli should be the size of the SS hobbits and the Hobbits the size o fthe Rotocast Hobbits. Would have been to difficult for SS to make then that small-still could of had smaller HS. I posed Gimli standing straight up and he does seem a tad tall. I'll repose him in a fightingstance.

Legolas and Aragorn are taller than the actors that played them?

Elves and Numenoreans were taller than average men (like Bloom and Mortensen), so their relative heights weren't quite faithful to the books, technically speaking.

When it comes to action figures, fortunately, the differences in height between the Men isn't that noticeable, and Gandalf has his pointy hat to make him look taller. Ringwraiths on the other hand, should be a good deal taller than the rest.

You got a good price on DiD... but TB Gimli seems to be rising in price. I'm sure there's tons out there, so maybe its best to wait until this Gimli surge passes a bit.
