I'm still in love with this Godzilla 2000 piece and damn I thought I was excited for the '64. But the 2000 being the maquette is such a gnarly look for the Big G. Love the serpentine head, the bony looking spines, the deadly looking claws and toes, and the slim, muscular build. Wish 2014 didn't look so bloated around the neck or have elephant feet (from what weve seen) because now THAT'S an intimidating Godzilla.

And to think, the guy who made the costume for the actual film accidentally left the maquette somewhere or lost it, and had to make the costume from memory. What could have been....

Get your sticks ready to beat me, but Im going to ask, what are the odds that they do the US 1998 Godzilla as a MonsterArts figure?

Anytime soon...I'd bet slim.

But down the road if the line continues to succeed....I can see him getting done under the tag Zilla.

He's actually make a cool looking figure with that level of detail. Trendmasters never did him justice.

Lots of cool stuff, you guys should check it out. Sakai is the man, period, no one can touch him in my book.

You guys either have all taken Japanese lessons without me or my computer is refusing to do something yours is. I go on there and just see Japanese characters all over. I click on things but I havent found anything yet :rotfl

Honestly, I'd be down with that. I already have some Zilla figures and it's a cool enough design where I'd buy a monster arts.

Just don't put "Godzilla" on the box....anywhere...:lol

It's not easy, lot of trial and error clicking, but I admire Sakai's work so much it's worth it.
