Having the 2014 figure next to the classic Godzilla's, he's different, but he blends in, like if I put a Zilla next to them, it'd stand out, the different color, the different design. Zilla's a cool monster but he's extremely different from any other Godzilla design. Godzilla 2014 is quite different, but you can see enough similarities in him that the overall feels like he belongs among all the other designs.

Meh I like it. The legs aren't to my liking but it still looks like godzilla to me. These bandai figures are just awful and I would even bother to give them a second look. It's just all a matter if opinion . I think the neca and the jakks are a better representation if what he really looks like. The bandai head is way to fat and it's just a hideous sculpt. I get what ur saying though so maybe you should wait it out for more quality figures down the line like xplus or the 18 inch neca or monster arts.

Yeah monsterarts is the one im intrigued by. I might by a neca or the jakks down the road just to support the line.

The '75 is impressive but for the pig nose, looking at pics from the movie, it's not as flat and forward as they sculpted it, otherwise badass.

Some new images of my recent score.

My effort at capturing the angle from the halo jump scene. I know it's just a toy, but it gives you a good sense of how much the lighting and all from the scene distort perception of Godzilla's body.

Just left my toys r us. They had some new stuff in. Some tail swipe Godzillas or whatever they are called the little box set with mutos and the one that shoots radioactive beams whwn you pick the tail up. I left them all on the shelf. Bummer for me...I was really hoping that id be all over all the merchandise when this movie was announced.

It's tiny, but for what it is, I'm loving the Destruction Godzilla from the city set, same figure as the individual pack, it's one of the best sculpts of Godzilla 2014 I've seen, though some proportions seem a little exaggerated compared to NECA and JAKKS.

I picked it up and thought it actually was the nicest figure they had there. Didn't want what was in the rest of the set.

I'd have preferred to get the cheaper solo set but oh well. I kept the Muto and the military vehicles, but the one I got had green buildings so they weren't worth keeping.

Anybody else think jakks recalled it's godzilla toys? No one can seem to find them in stores and it looks like sound was supposed to come out of it. Makes me think they weren't ready for release.
