I wonder if there are any physical differences between pre-mutated Godzilla and post-mutated Godzilla. And if there are, if figures will be released for both designs.

Or I wonder Godzilla maybe just looks slightly different throughout the movie after the bombings or the incidents.

I think Godzilla will look the same in '54 and 2014, at least his spines are indetical in the beach shot from the trailer as later. I feel like the nuke will either do nothing or just give him strength or his atomic ray.

I'll be bummed if they don't show what Godzilla looked like before 1954. Or before whatever mutated him took it's affect.

wow.toys r us raised their price on the 21 inch giant size godzilla.now its 59.99.Nice to know this toy store likes to take advantage on children's happiness:angrycanu:angrycanu

I'll be throwing a party if this is just better than 98...

I think '98 gets a bad press.. sure, there was some miscasting and a slightly clunky script.. but Zilla rocked in kaiju terms!
If there hadn't been the link to the traditions of the Toho license and the film had therefore been accepted as a disaster movie, with an awesome giant kaiju ripping up Manhattan, imho it worked.. and Toho did adopt Zilla after the dust settled.

All Zilla has going for it is a neat monster design, after that, epic fail. He's a scared ***** of a monster that would get his *** handed to him by any other creature his size and the only destruction he caused was because something happened to be in his way while he ran around.

Picked up the Jakks Godzilla this morning at TRU. Huge and pretty cool - a nice toy. My son is already destroying his Star Wars figures and Lego sets. Flashbacks of the Shogun Godzilla when I was little. I still definitely want a SH Monsterarts version.

I see a Godzilla logo on Sideshow's site saying collectibles coming soon. Is Sideshow planning on making a Godzilla from the new movie at some point?

Got the Godzilla Destruction pack at my local TRU today. Kids are going to be happy. No BIG guy figures though. Would have liked to see it in person even thought the spines are small.

I wish the damn jakks figure wasnt so hard to find. i dont know why they didnt release more on launch day. Ebay dudes are selling this for more than whats its worth.
