I love mine too, he keeps me company at work . I check him out all the time, definitely helps waiting for NECA, if I had no figure I'd be going more nuts than I already am hehe. I really like the look of the new Godzilla, well done Legendary.

Yeah, I don't know if it's the excitement I have for the movie or what, but it's become one of my favorite Godzilla designs. I'm even over my initial waning feelings on his feet.

It is! They had the other ones (tail strike, atomic breath vomiting) and they looked worse. I also saw they had the big jakks one, but they were selling it for $130…and even with 25% off I couldn't do it

Few Godzilla's showing, to the far left on the table, the 12" HTT 2014 and standing next to it, looks like a WIP Godzilla, and then far down on the table towards the right looks like another Godzilla, no telling if it's NECA's or some other company's that they have around, but so cool seeing Godzilla there.

Bandai Japan's doing some minifigures for the 60th Anniversary. Hopefully, they'll do some vinyl figures for the new movie or something.

Judging by that pic, the set contains GxMG Kiryu, FW Goji, and the Legendary Goji. Sweet, this must mean international manufacturers have the license as well!

No kidding. I don't need dinky Godzilla's. Give me X-Plus and maybe SH MonsterArts and I'm done. NECA can crawl back into their shoddy Chinese Factory as far as I'm concerned...

I will be ecstatic if X-Plus makes a figure of this new Godzilla. However, if they do, we probably won't see him until next year.

Not sure about that... maybe give them a couple of months to get a prototype together, but once the figure is revealed and goes up for PO (which tend to happen on the same day) it'll only be one to two months until it ships out. X-Plus is cool like that.

Monsterarts is getting a little boring, guess they need to recoup costs for the big, unique figures with recycling parts. Now they're releasing adult Junior from the final shot of Godzilla vs Destroyah to reuse parts from the existing Godzillas. I really like seeing a normal Godzilla with the build of the '95 minus the flames, it's powerful looking.

Quick question for my fellow freaks. I have an opportunity to buy an X-Plus Megalon for approximately $800. What do you all think? Too much? Average after market price? I already have Gigan. Just needs some opinions and/or thoughts?

It's your money, I personally would never pay that much for an X-Plus, they're nice pieces but I feel like their retail price is already high for what you get, the aftermarket prices are absurd. Maybe not right now while they're hot, but I'm sure at some point, these will be found at a bargain if you hunt right. I see Kaiyodo kit's being sold for $300+ on eBay and I've gotten mine for $50-$100 with patience.

save your money . that is way to much. if you like the new 2014 design then you have the Maquette to look forward to. but if you plan on buying megalon because you can't resist the urge ; scour the earth first before dropping that kind of money.im pretty sure you can find him in japan for way less even after shipping and middle guy fees. so scour yahoo japan and amazon japan first.youll have to use Tenso to pay and have it shipped but i think in the end you will be paying less. think about how hard you had to work to make that kinda coin and how the seller probably paid 150.00 shipped. i know you will have to pay a mark up but try and find a much more reasonable mark up which i believe you will find in japan.
