I'm going with NECA personally. I prefer the film accuracy. I never have been too impressed with JAKKS products. I may change my mind when I see them in person. But I doubt it.

If money were no object, I'd get the JAKKS in a heart beat, it's inaccurate, but not so much that the sheer size isn't worth having. Unfortunately, I can only get one figure so I'm being very particular. I could settle for the NECA 12" HTT but the head's going to be too small for me, plus the rubber tail end, but really, it's the head being too small to really see all the detail, on a Toho Godzilla I wouldn't care but with this design, there's lots of detail and I want it all.

took a quick pic of my giant godzilla nex to metroplex to show the size comparison.for 50 dollars I cant complain.Its a decent figure and I cant wait to get the neca 12 inch version.Sucks TRU only get 2 per case per store for now.And the online price is more expensive then the retail store price.

Is the Jakks godzilla figure the one to get or wait for neca?

I think the MonsterArts one will be pretty impressive if you're willing to wait and pay a pretty penny for a 6-inch figure. Neca will probably be the most bang for your buck with a fairly decent balance of price and accuracy.

Here are a few Godzillas I picked up recently. I went to MegaCon in Orlando this past weekend and found the X-Plus 2001 there. I found the Jakks G at a TRU on the trip home. The X-Plus Gigantic 2001 arrived today.

I'm not really liking that 40" G though. Those joint lines are an eyesore for me.

I love that Gigantic GMK Goji. I'm not a big fan of the film but that sculpt on that figure is amazing.

It is! They had the other ones (tail strike, atomic breath vomiting) and they looked worse. I also saw they had the big jakks one, but they were selling it for $130…and even with 25% off I couldn't do it

I love mine too, he keeps me company at work . I check him out all the time, definitely helps waiting for NECA, if I had no figure I'd be going more nuts than I already am hehe. I really like the look of the new Godzilla, well done Legendary.
