a bit pricey but the sculpts are solid . those teeth and claws are sharp as hell . i mean sharp like they can puncture your finger if you push hard enough and sharp looking as well . this tail went on relatively easy . i still believe they should have a better connector for the money.

just arrived today

Nice, scaled Super X 2 included :rock

I'm just waiting for BBTS to put it up for order. I really like the attitude and pose of this, so glad they did such a nice job with a suit I care about, would love if they do '84 for them to do it at 12", but as long as it nicely represents him, I'll get it at any size.

BBTS jacks the prices on this up quite a bit. GMK was $150 on their website, but he was about $95 on Hobby Search. Even with the higher shipping costs, you'd still save money and you would also get it faster. I'd suggest ordering from an asian retailer.

and HS's customer service is excellent

I'm sure you guys have had good experiences, I'm just weary of using places I don't know to buy stuff when I have the option to buy from a place I'm comfortable with, and in this case, I'm fine with BBTS' prices for the secure feeling I get ordering with them.

I can understand the feeling of security that you get from buying through BBTS, they're definitely a great place to buy from and they get a lot of my business for various items.

For what it's worth, I would like to throw out my vote of confidence in the Japanese retailers Hobby Link Japan and Hobby Search. The 12" scale figures are $100 cheaper through them and I've order all five X Plus releases through the both of them and have never had any issues whatsoever. You can also pre-order via paypal without any payment down. They will send you a payment request when the item comes in stock.

Ok, just for my clarification, X-Plus has made:

12 INCH

- 2003
- 1968

8-10 INCH

-2001
-1989

What other Godzillas have they done?

They made some of the other monsters in the 12" scale like Gigan and Anguirus. Awhile back they made figures for the Bandai Museum in 8" scale. Various characters were made, but Final Wars, Godzilla vs. Kong, and 1954 were the Godzilla offerings through the Bandai Museum. X-Plus USA also made Godzilla '64, Godzilla '65, and GMK Godzilla but they didn't look very good.

Yeah, I had the 3 USA pieces, upgraded to regular Bandai figures for them all.

Ok, so of this current line of stuff, there's just been the 4 Godzillas so far.

Yes, '03 and '68 Godzilla have both been released. GMK and '89 in the smaller scale are coming out in the next couple of months. They also released Gigan, Gorosaurus, and Anguirus and are going to release Mothra Lava and Minya, but I know you are mostly in collecting Godzilla only.

Has anyone seen the Godzilla statue from CM...I was thinking of getting this...It's huge at 4ft tall...But just looks awesome...

Yup, I'm crossing fingers they do a faithful '65 Ghidrah in some scale, I don't care about the size on that, but most Ghidrah figures have ended up looking almost idealized, not rough like the '65 wise but that's my favorite design of my favorite Godzilla foe.

I saw it. It's cool that it's so big, but I don't really like the look of it all that much. I'd really like to have a cool polystone maquette of Godzilla that is ultra detailed and looks really realistic. That one doesn't seem to have the level of detail I'd like to see especially at the price tag they're asking for.

I'd definitely love to see a Ghidorah. I think X-Plus could give us a beautiful piece that is faithful to the true design, but it's definitely going to be very expensive. If it's in the 12" scale, and I hope it is, I'd expect to pay $300 for it easily.

While it probably won't look anything like the Toho Godzilla, just for the product possibilities, I'll be curious to see how the new American Godzilla turns out and if Sideshow goes after the license and rolls with it, could see dios, maquettes, some pretty cool stuff.

I'm hoping Sideshow picks up the license as well. I know I probably shouldn't be too optomistic, but I am looking forward to seeing a new Godzilla film brought to the screen. I hope that they can capture some of the character and feeling of the old films to pay homage and respect to the Toho Godzilla series. I'd definitely be interested in seeing some cool high end collectibles for Godzilla as well.
