I understood why he was out there, but I hated how that scene ended.
As soon as I saw that he was going out with them to support that guy, I knew he was probably going to die.

Yeah...I figured that too or

I thought that maybe that younger soldier would die and he would see first hand how crazy it was out there.I thought it was still good though, even if it was predictable. How can someone really offer good advice/support to these guys without seeing/experiencing what they see.

If you aren't a huge movie buff, I can see not knowing much about Cameron and still seeing those movies. I know tons of people who have probably seen most of Cameron's work, but don't that he is the director of all of it. Not everybody pays attention to those things.

True true. But one must admit he's made some very eye-catching movies!

I just heard about this movie a few days ago. If it ends up playing here, I definitely want to go see it.

No doubt, but the average person doesn't know who the ____ most director's are.

Yeah, I'm kinda like that with lesser know directors too, hehe. Like I didn't know the Hurt Locker director also did Point Break and Near Dark. Ill remembers this from the Hurt Locker thread. :lol

She also did Strange Days, which is a pretty interesting flick.

Here's a bit of trivia - Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker director) used to be married to James Cameron.

Pic saved, that's one cute monkey.

I have to stop reading this thread because it frustrates me that people are so goshdarn picky or whatever.... that they can see why avatar is overrated while I want and will see it a third time in the theatre.

Ahhhh..Mesa no need to get worked up over it. If this was THE movie for you and it has given you a memory that you will never forget, then that's awesome. That is the greatest compliment one can give to a movie. I can't remember the last movie that really blew me away (besides LOTR) - it would probably have to be Apocalypto - which totally surprised me. I went in thinking I would probably see a good film and I couldn't stop thinking about it for days.
