I'm curious about the non-refundable deposit; if someone orders 2, then wants to cancel one of them later, would they lose $30, or would $60 be credited towards the one they keep ? It is rather tempting to order 2 of these ...

HEY sideshow, want to sell more of these, then maybe post a pic of complete dispalying opitions

If you notice in the pictures, the Smeagol version has a different nameplate on the base. I'm guessing it's like a magnetic thing or something like that you could switch out the name and then switch out the torso.

Definitely wanted this, cancel policy irrevelant in this case! Like the switch out sculpts and nameplates, well worth it as an exclusive. Nice sculpt. I was a little put off by the high base (would have preferred a medium high base), but overall it fits the character given all the rock climbing he does.

And here we have the first dumb arse post from someone not getting it......

Then please educate me. I see a 21 inch tall statue that is 10 inches of rocks. Was this to keep the size the same for all PFs (what about Frodo)? Was this to mimic a specific scene in the movie? I don't recall the promontory at Mt Doom looking like a stack of rocks, almost a staircase. Sideshow could keep the same pose and use a more typical base configuration to keep pricing down.

How else would they justify a $300 price? The rock promontory is about $150 right there . . .

Kidding aside, I believe the ability to showcase both PF bodies does help justify the cost.

Hopefully the mini-base will also have an attachment point (magnetic or otherwise) so we can attach the alternate nameplate!

So in essence, we get a PF and a bust, NOT two separate statues.

The exclusive is a switch out torso. So there will be two torsos for the Gollum and Sméagol personas, but one lower body / legs.

Based upon the discussion, a second base will be provided to display the torso not attached to the legs.

I think the base is the same, just the bottom podium where the nameplate is located will be extra. It's a domestic exclusive, does it mean there's no regular version? If that's the case, edition size is pretty small!
