That's why I asked if the pipe part (head and all) was removable. He grabbed the froggies out of the open bowl.
I'm sort of hoping the liquid in the bowl is actually solid, so I don't have to worry about damaging the poly if I need to fill it.

Wait, so in the movie how did it work? Bib removed the top part of the hookah so Jabba could snack on the froggies instead of smoking them?

Look, man, you want the specs or something?! I haven't a clue how the puppet eats the rubber frogs. :lol

Seriously, there's just a point in the movie where the hookah isn't on the bowl. Jabba just reaches in to the bowl and grabs the sreaming little froggy and pops him into his maw.

It's not a big deal to me if it doesn't come off, I'm just curious. I'm looking forward to setting him up. And i can't wait to see the "collector friendly packaging" that SSC has done for all the previous star wars figures.

I ordered all of Jabba, throne, Crumb, Bib, and Leia at the Show. The Sideshow rep told me that the comic con special of FREE shipping should also apply to them. I just hope I see the orders in my account before Jabba's inclusive is over.

Is this free shipping only for attendees? Jabba costs $400.47 for me because I live in California.:monkey2

That would be $460 for all EU collectors that ordered straight from SSC. Free shipping would be a nice bonbon reducing the cost by $40...

Again, congratz to the 2,000th post Batty! I must have missed the thread.

$373 for me. Also in PA. This is going to be one uber long wait as I leave for school in the fall missing not only Jabba's arrival in the first quarter, but also every figure after August 31.

Another thing I love about the new Jabba is that I can't see myself ever feeling like a "have not" with him in my collection. Right now I see some of the collectibles out there like various PF's, Code 3, and MR items and can't help but think "dang, if only."

But soon it will be, "dang, that's sweet but it ain't no 1/6 Jabba!! Yee ha!"

Man I remember the trouble it took me get the original Kenner Jabba as a kid. Its funny even then I remember being surprised that he was even made in the 3 inch figure scale. :D The ONE time I saw him in a store I had absolutely no birthday, Christmas, or allowance money to get him. I scrounged allowance for what felt like months (hey it might have been) and then had to wait another eternity for him to arrive after ordering from a Sears catalog (remember those?) But ah, it was worth it.

And now we have the "grown up" version right before our eyes. Life is good. :chew

I have to pay 8% sales tax on everything I buy from Sideshow. Now I realize that I am in the minority.:monkey2 Sideshow should give a break on shipping costs for Californians since we live so close. I know Fedex charges less for shipping in the same state, but Sideshow charges the same amount for anywhere in the country.

I am really glad I ordered this, but since I did I have been trying to figure out where in the hell I am going to display it. The ONLY place I have that it will fit is where I currently keep my Star Wars PF figures. I would have to move the PF's somewhere and I have no real place for them if I move them.

I pretty much have to keep my collection in the basement to keep the dog and 5 year old away from it to prevent damage as well as my fiance not wanting the whole house to be a collection display.

I am really going to have to work on something to figure out how to display this set. I don't really have anything I want to sell or weed out of my collection either.

Oh, well. Time to get creative and come up with some kind of new shelf system.

If SS really gets a deal on in-state shipping, then yeah I think we Californians should get a deal on shipping to off-set the tax. I wish, for those of us who live really close to Sideshow, we could pick-up our figures at their location.

That's all SS needs, right? A mass attack of collectors lining up outside at 6am when a new figure hits their warehouse. :D
