I'm assuming they are playing Bruce around 12 here - fits with the context. Yes, I know that's too old if you're being strict about things, but it makes more context in the show. And I'd put Cat around 14, and she looks about right.

Ivy was great - favorite part of the episode, although I liked some of the dynamic with Selina and Bruce as well. He's infatuated, but still smart enough to realize she's playing him and not falling for it. But she's finding herself drawn to him too, although she's not going to admit it. Bruce believing that with training he can overcome anything, her believing that you have to be ruthless to survive...all this leads to adults that fit within the general context we've seen before, but do it in a evolving way.

Yeah, the actress is 15 so in a couple of seasons she's going to look a lot more grown up and so is Bruce if the show makes it that far and I hope it does. They are the only teenagers that are really regularly on the show. Ivy may show up more too as time goes on, but Penguin, Riddler are already adult age...Penguin I assume is early 20's.

I thought someone said earlier in the thread that the actress was only 12. Since she's 15 then that's another story. The actor playing Bruce is 13.

I believe I read in a interview with the producers of the show, Bruce is 12 years old (Actor is 13) and Cat is 14 (Actor is 15)

This is probably my favorite Show on TV right now (behind Walking Dead & Game of Thrones)... I think the stories match up perfectly with the way the characters become later in life. If the show stays strong rating wise, it will probably stay on the air for 5-6 seasons right up to the point where Bruce becomes 18 and leaves Gotham (kind of where Batman Begins movie starts off)

I also enjoy The Flash and Arrow but IMO those shows feel more like sequels to Smallville... Fun to watch but if I miss an episode or two no biggy... where as I don't want to miss an episode Gotham..

I feel the same way about AOS now. That show abandoned the monster of the week approach and shifted to a season long story arc (just like Buffy/Angel/Dollhouse). Can't wait to see where they go with this Sky/Sky's dad/Kree storyline. It's too bad the ratings are down this year though.

I hope with every new season of Bruce ages a few years at a time so we can see a ninja Bruce fighting crime in Gotham by season 4.

Yeah I have to admit I was not a big fan of Agents of Shield, the first half of Season One was terrible IMO, but the last 4-5 episodes of Season One really took it up several notches and so far Season Two has been really good.

In my area FIOS has terminated the FOX channel from their lineup due to the two companies not agreeing to fees or contracts. I just hope this so-called dispute is done before Gotham returns.

Just saw the 10th episode and props to the writers for pairing up Bullock and... Alfred? :lol

I think this might be the first time we've seen the all too capable Alfred outside of the comics.

P/s: Bruce Wayne sucks.

You didn't see that look on his face when he decided he was going to jump the gap?

That was Batman.

Scums of Gotham beware. Out of breath rich kid jumps rooftops.

In all seriousness though, I just wished the character had better material. The casting for Bruce and Selina is great. The forced and uninteresting material, isn't.
