Loved, loved, loved this episode.

And who was that chick with the whip? Was she the same character from last season who came for Bruce and Co. at the mansion? I can't remember.

How was the premiere guys? This (along with Castle) are the only shows I'll be watching this year.

I gotta know, is the writing similar to last season aka. Utter **** (in my opinion) or did they learn from their mistakes last season. I was completely turned off after the season finale and the only way I'll come back is if they got much much better.

It's still campy, cheesy (not in a good way) and cliche, but it's a nice way to spend 40 minutes. The Bruce kid is trying really, really hard (writing's fault probably) to sound like a 50 year-old professor who's getting ready to turn in his Nobel paper, Jerome is really, really trying to be the Joker (a cheesy and over the top Joker) and Gordon's really, really trying to pull off the "tortured, hard-***, but also kind hearted and just cop" angle. It's not a "bad" show per se, but the scripts must improve a bit.

Great Episode. Campy? Yes.

Things I didn't like:

Bruce Wayne giving "Yoda" words of wisdom to a grown man.
Unisex Asylum - Barbara would have been ****ed the second she place her bare feet into the common room! But I get it for the story line.

I love the Joker. I think it's pretty much spot on. As for Bruce, I agree that he can be a bit much, but I understand where they're going with it.

I must say that, while I'm still not 100% on board with "Jerome," I feel like he may turn out great. There were still some shaky parts, but his performance seemed a lot less forced than his first appearance.

My preferred version of the Joker is a creepy, outwardly guy that is unsettling but doesn't spend every second laughing his buttocks off. I still kinda like Jerome, and the actor's doing a good job, but I think that they should dial the campy back a bit.

I don't think they should dial the camp back, at all. They picked a direction, now they need to stick with it.
