It's pretty spot on. Nora is dying and he needs to preserve her to buy enough time to try to find a cure for her illness. Everything he's doing is to save Nora. That's what's at the core of his comic character.

I know that, but I prefer the BTAS take

I didn't notice anything wrong with him either. The sickass basement gore was a plus in my book.

It was a pretty good episode. I've already accepted that this universe is different from the comics or cartoons, so I don't mind Freeze showing up while Bruce is still a child.

I couldn't have been happier than when this show went off the rails and stopped trying to tow the line between being a GCPD procedural in Season 1. I hated it, at first, but, the way I see it, I'd be a hypocrite if I stuck with Smallville for 10 years, through the good and bad, without giving this its fair shake. It may not be the Gotham I wanted, but it's here.

Yeah, that was a cool scene. The show seems to be pulling all the stops in the gore department of late. I'm digging it.

That's good news. I'm really enjoying the show and it's much improved over the disastrous first season. Heck, Bruce isn't annoying anymore!
