It's that they insist on shoehorning in gay characters and storylines for the sake of it. Where has the Penguin and or the Riddler ever been a homosexual and why would they be now? I'm tired of established character traits being altered to force an agenda. So yeah, 'Merica.

So, now, it's a continuity thing? I might buy that if this show ever even tried to respect continuity, in the slightest, but we got a show where Thomas Wayne worked with Hugo Strange to "change the world" by making people with dinosaur claws, where the Court of owls orchestrated the murder of the Waynes, Barbara Keene is a homicidal maniac, Azrael is not only a full-blown villain, but a brainwashed zombie mayor who believes he's Azrael, 90% of all Batman villains are apparently middle aged to full-blown geriatrics by the time Bruce Wayne even puts on the cowl, if he ever does, and, I can go on, but, yeah, point I'm making is that, basically, that's straight-up bull****.

But...he was Kid Flash? And he hasn't been since Barry changed the timeline again, soooooo, non-issue, much?

Its one thing to destroy the continuity, you can always look at that from an Elseworlds pov, although i would prefer actual source material. But to change long established characters because of some political agenda is what is bs. Make a new character if you want to represent that agenda.

Honestly, I don't really give that much of a **** about whether Penguin and Riddler are gay lovers or not. I just found it funny that people are more horrified by the thought of two dudes (who didn't even kiss) kissing than beheadings, cannibalism, and all loads of other ultraviolent ****. As for Wally, I might understand your getting pissed at the PC agenda if DC hadn't already made a black Wally in the comics. So, shouldn't you be more pissed at the comics for opening the door for a black Wally than the show for, well, adapting the comics?

I echo Batfan that I don't give a crap if Penguin is gay or not. He's my favorite Penguin and if he's happier being gay, so be it.

Edit: I just found out that the actor playing Penguin is actually married to a guy in real life, honestly didn't know that.

This series is great.Each episode keeps getting more interesting.The writers do a good job involving all the characters.I don't think Nygma will respond to Cobblepot professing his love for him the way he wants.So it will be interesting to see what happens.Also Barnes is changing but into what? Has Nygma found a new Miss Kringle?Until next week.

While it is weird, I don't have an issue with it. Riddler clearly doesn't swing that way and will reject Pengy and cause problem.

That said, Mad Hatter and the guy playing him has been great!

No, while that may lend to this option to do so, there is still no point to it.
Leave sexual orientation out of it, as it has been. My argument here is FOX/WB, whomever, has done it just to do it, it lends no value to the story, its gratuitous. Does FOX/WB think now they have single handedly bridged the discrimination gap with their injecture of a comic books character into homosexuality, I don't think so.

you knew Cobblepot would freak at Nygma's new found Hetero love for Isabella.Damn' I thought he would go maniac and just get rid of her.Wonder how far will he go?Guess we needed the Physco LSD Trip for Jim to sort out his demons.I thought Barbara was pretty hot in there.Tetch almost had Gotham in the palm of his hand.Barnes is getting freaky and looks like he will pop in next weeks episode.No Ivy what's with that?

I really think the sets are fantastic looking in this series.How they have combined the now with a 40's noir style and feel is very cool.Excellent work.
