I'm a decent enough looking fellow I guess. ^^^^ I think I will start right now! *Gets on Knees* "Please god, I beg you. Grant me access to Megan Fox's vagine please. Amen." :angelsmil

Guess we will see what happens. At least statistically speaking I now have a 5% chance. :lecture

:lol:lol:lol

I feel I should point out in regards to your new quest that prayers usually go unanswered.

No I am done debating with you because you have no sense of real logic. Hence I decided to lighten the mood with a joke. Thanks for ruining my little joke.

Keep playing it off. You don't have a logical leg to stand on.

I hate playing devil's advocate, that is why everythin I say I can back up with my beliefs or facts.

Ooooookie doke then.

Show me how prayer is a greater solution to this kids problems than competent medical treatment?

Nevermind. I can't believe in the 21st century we are even having this discussion. But then again, they're burning witches in Africa so.... :dunno

For instance, when I answered you point for point you gave up. Now you can say it is because I don't have logic but we both no it is because you have no more anwers.

:lol When did you ever answer me point for point?

The sum total of your whole posting has been "maybe prayer will work. how do you know it won't?" I prostrate myself at the feet of such superiority.

Wrong again, here I'll help you to read since your eyes are rolling so much:

Quote:
No. You are enforcing a law. Big difference.

Wrong. As we have established together, the parents were also following a law, just not the law you think they should. This is what freedom of religion is all about, and by the way it is also a law... this concept seems to elude you. How do you decide which laws are the important ones? If this being a life or death situation, like this almost is, makes you put your law first... just keep in mind that those who follow a faith have their own understanding of exactly what life and death is. So there is no "big difference", it is law verses law. Verses freedom of religion, which is also a law that means they don't get chemo if they don't want it because science hasn't dispelled the possibility.

... here is a point that isn't that sum total BS you were saying, there are more when you are done with this one. Just because the thread moves to a new page doesn't mean those other pages don't exist.

Exactly. Your foundation is BS. Religious Law does not trump Goverment laws when the two are in conflict over a matter where a child's life is in danger.

Thank the gods you are not incharge of this boys life and rational thinking people are doing what they can to save his life, despite his parents "religious" zeal.

How did you escape Jonestown?

But freedom of religion is one of your governmental laws.

nobody has to follow governmental laws. its just when they break them they risk the penalty.

So now you are interpreting the laws?

Yup. I guess I am. As are you. Whodathunk it. Fortunately I have case ruling precedence on my side.

I can tell you are anxious to display how smart you think you are, so answer me this: Muslims. Should we allow muslims to carry out honor killings in America? .. I mean we are the land of the free after all.

Please keep in mind, as I typed earlier, I do not follow an organised religion and believe I would have used chemo on my own child. Do you have reading glasses? If so, maybe you should get them before you join a debate.
