Just saw the film. Hal and Sinestro are a must. Hector Hammond would actually make a very awesome looking figure as well.

I don't know how we'd get it yet, but a Sinestro Corps Sinestro from the mid-credit scene would be AMAZING!

Gatling gun construct, and two head sculpts and I am in. After watching it, i think HT is gonna get creative with this one though, i dont think they will just throw a rubber suit on a truetype.

Nah, the only way this will work is if the suit is the figure, like Iron Man. They can't put something over a TT body without it looking too bulky. Plus they'd lose any chance at a light up effect, which I think they'll at least do a chest and ring, if not the full body.

Part of me wonders if they couldn't just paint the glowing "vains" in his body with neon paint, As much as I'd like to see a full body glowing effect, I think that the only way the light would truly get a proper effect is in the dark anyway.

They couldn't even light up Kevin Flynns outfit, and that had room to hide the wires. what makes you think they can make it light up in a rubber suit with all those wires? Some of you are dreaming too big.
The ring maybe, since they can make it light up like mech test tony's hands.

Sounds like a glorified Mattel toy except with a $200 price tag.
The visual (in my head) of a painted TT or rubber body looks cheap
Then again, I don't know the solution to pull off the figure. I hope HT does GL justice (pun intended).

I can do without light up gimmick, particularly if it makes the rest of the figure suffer in any way (a la Ghost Rider). Rubber is a big no-go for me. Largely sculpted body would probably work out just fine, IMO. Hot Toys has done a good job of minimizing the ugliness of joints with Bruce Lee and Alien. I figure they could do something similar here.

Yeah, GL should basically be a Bruce Lee body painted green and black. They shouldn't use any type of 'clothing' on him. It just wouldn't work. But I do think we'd get a ring and chest light at least. Like others mentioned, HT did that just fine on Mech Tech Stark. Just get the chest and ring to light up and you can fudge the rest with paint.

Given that the film is currently getting a 24% on Rotten Tomatoes, Hot Toys probably should have waited another week to see how the film did before announcing it as a license; its unfortunately one they probably should have skipped.

If the film sucks who cares?, the design is awesome anyway.
If Star wars bombed there would be people who still would want lots of stormtrooper.
Hell most people hate the PT, but still lap up the clones and so forth because of good design

Just got back @ the theater, will rate it a 6/10 for me. As expected stunning visuals but the story itself just happened to fast IMHO.
Blake Lively is so gorgeous!
Will still PO the HT version inspite of this and eagerly waiting for the sequels where Sinestro will be the villain.

Because they've never had success making figures from films that were commercial failures. :cuckoo They'll do Hal, and he'll sell out, and you can enjoy a heaping serving of crow pie.
To each their own. Personally the thought of neon painted veins on a figure sounds like poop and would much rather see those areas black between the gloves/shoulders, upper legs and boots.

Four 'Lanterns' would be cool providing the corps affect. Anybody else would be easy pass.
You think the chances improve for more Lanterns if they have to create a unique figure for Hal?

Wow, sounds like this is a rental. My best friend saw it (he's a GL fan, not a super fan but a fan nonetheless) and he said it was ass. Some cool stuff, but there is also some incoherent ____ that just happens. Like Sinestro
Oddly enough he said the suit worked for him, but the mask was gay. I guess they even make fun of it in the movie. I dunno. I am sure the figure will be cool, Ryan Reynolds would've made a better Wally West.
