Every time I listen to the main theme, I just feel so damn happy. It's the most optimistic main theme for any movie I've seen in years. :lol

Can't help but agree there, during the opening sequence when Knifehead showed and they were gearing up I nearly jumped out of my seat to cheer :yess:

Pacific Rim Fights Back at China Box Office

Legendary and Warners' monster movie earns $100 million in China.

Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim passed $100 million in China this weekend, marking its third consecutive weekend in the No. 1 box office spot with $13 million.
The Wrap reports that Legendary and Warner Bros.' tentpole earned over $20 million in international sales this weekend. This adds up to a total of $286 million overseas and almost $385 million worldwide.

Pacific Rim is only the second movie this year to hit the $100 million mark in China. The first was Disney's Iron Man 3, which has made about $120 million since it opened there in June. As Warners' top-grossing film in China, the robots vs. monsters movie broke two chart records this weekend, passing The Avengers ($84 million) and Kung Fu Panda 2 ($92 million).

Considering the film's success internationally, the outlook for a Pac Rim sequel is looking better all the time. For now, though, Pacific Rim can rest easy knowing that it's nearly doubled its estimated $200 million budget.

I'm working on my first Pac Rim shirt. Should be done in a few days. It will be a lame mash up, because that's all I can legally get away with.
