The press junket interviews on the Universal lot they have Jason Blum sitting with Carpenter to babysit him I guess.

Oh man go to the 9:45 mark the interviewer asks Carpenter why Myers middle name is Audrey and you have to see Carpenter’s facial reaction.

You do realize these press junkets serve only one purpose right, to accomodate the studio to sell the movie.

You can’t sell a movie if the interviewer is an alpha male who gets up and punches Carpenter in the face now can you.

That interviewers schtick is his geekiness to EVERYTHING that’s why he has that job he is there to represent the geeks watching

Then again Fox got rid of their movie division and I highly doubt this guy hanged out with super alpha male Sean-El Hannity

It’s amazing how many males are obsessed with having to be an alpha male as if that’s all you need in life to succeed.

Go act all alpha male at your job to your boss and see how quickly you’ll find yourself on the unemployment line lol

Like whats happening to so many 20 somethings nowadays look around you.(whole other post) Maybe if you laid off the soy and Doritos you'd be annoyed at how he was acting as well. I've seen this guy before doing press interviews and he's annoying as hell. JC is of an older generation, and more of a man than this kid will ever be sadly.(And yes you should act Alpha to your boss, you should never as a man take **** from anyone boss included)


Btw Jye, remember when you'd threw a fit when Han died after EP7 for a week straight? And yet you defend EP8 like there's nothing wrong? Sway with the wind much?
Also remember when you made that video of you BEFORE ep7 came out throwing cards up or whatever in anticipation? Also kinda beta! Jus sayin!!

I'm pretty sure they do, but at the same time, I feel like this franchise is all over the place with rights. Universal seems to have some strong rights going back to Halloween 2 in 1981, as Shatner mask products have been able to be produced when sold as Halloween 2 products, NECA has had issues with rights to the original film for years but was able to get them for the 2018 film (also Universal). Three Zero and Trick or Treat Studios obtained rights to do Halloween 6 products and ToTS also got H20, but H4, H5, etc. seem either not wanted or unobtainable.

I think it would be intriguing to understand the rights of the franchise why merchandising is handled the way it is.

First need to see if the movie is good enough to warrant shelf space in my home being stolen from a Mazinger Z i’ve been eyeing.

It’s sooooo not going to live up to the hype anyways I just know it I mean look how wrong modern video smooth motion Myers looks in that photo.
